Winter Break for Research

I am writing to inform you of a forthcoming pause in my regular posts. Over the next few weeks I will share three or four more articles before stepping away towards the end of November to work on a collaborative project with a gaggle of economists.
We’re analysing the potential cost savings associated with implementing a pharmaco-nutritional / preventative model of healthcare. As this research is complex and largely out of my area, it will keep me offline until February – but I think it worth doing. I have come to realise that while our political ‘elites’ are not interested in public health they are very interested in money, and this may therefore be a more effective way of persuading them to support a change of course.
